about me.

Never Never Land was the old me where I indulged daily in the social life of an office and “someone’s birthday” treats, living in the land of hobbits, Narnia, and flightless birds.

I’ve more recently moved to Oregon where I work from home as a consultant, which means that I spend inordinate amounts of time online shopping sales tax-free but see far less of my paycheck. It also means there are a lot of  Suburu Outbacks, Honda Elements, dogs, sunshine, and white people.

I read, I write, I eat too much and don’t sleep enough.

Your answer is at the top of google with incorrect grammar, “Typically the word junkie is used to describe someone who has a special addiction, consumed by a substance in such a way that aspects of their life actually suffer as they satisfy their addiction: one who would rather buy drugs then take care of responsibilities like rent.”

Should be, “Typically the word junkie is used to describe someone who has a special addiction, consumed by a substance in such a way that aspects of their life actually suffer as they satisfy their addiction: one who would rather buy drugs THAN take care of responsibilities like rent.”
